SBC to trial naked DSL

Via Om Malik, SBC will trial naked DSL, but could go with a partially bundled service to protect voice revenues. Follow this Houston Chronicle link. Qwest and Verizon either already offer the service or plan to.

Could the purchasing power of state government push SBC to fully unbundle DSL from local voice services?
